What is Sound Healing?
Sound healing works through the principle of entrainment , the natural ability of the brain and body to synchronize to rhythm and frequency.
When you’re immersed in sound (such as crystal bowls, gongs, or harmonic tones), the brain begins to shift its wave patterns. Many people move from active, thinking states (beta) into slower, more restorative states like alpha and theta, which are associated with relaxation, creativity, and deep healing.
In this way, sound healing supports the body by working through the mind first calming mental activity, regulating the nervous system, and allowing the body to naturally come back into balance.
Sound Healing & The Body
- Guides the brain into slower, restorative brainwave states (alpha + theta)
- Supports nervous system regulation and stress reduction
- Encourages emotional release and mental clarity
- Creates a sense of safety, allowing the body to soften and restore
- Helps shift patterns of overthinking, anxiety, and overwhelm
Vibrational (Frequency) Healing: A Deeper Layer
While sound healing primarily works through the brain and nervous system, vibrational therapy goes a step further by working directly with the physical body.
Using specialized frequencies delivered through the vibration table, sound is not only heard, it is felt.
These frequencies travel through the body, interacting with muscles, tissues, and organs at a cellular level. This creates a more direct physical response, helping to release tension, support circulation, and bring the body back into its natural rhythm.
Key Differences
- Sound Healing:
Works through the ears → brain → nervous system → body - Vibrational Therapy (Sound Table):
Works through the body → cells → nervous system → brain
Together, they create a full-spectrum experience where the mind and body are both guided back into coherence, balance, and deep restoration.
Sound Healing and New Moon Bath
Vital Vibrations is a monthly movement and frequency-based wellness series led by two women who bridge medical science and intuitive healing.Together, the sessions integrate modern health science, anatomy, and medical awareness with energetic, somatic, and spiritual practices—creating an experience that is both grounded and expansive.

Every Month
Each month focuses on a specific area or system of the body—such as gut health, lymphatic flow, or meridian pathways—exploring how physiology, nervous system regulation, and energetic channels interact to support vitality and resilience.
